ABOUT
Born on June 3, 1944, Patsy Jenkins Hubbard was a lifelong resident of Franklin County, Virginia and a 1962 graduate of Franklin County High School. During her time at FCHS she was a four-year member of the high school choir, while also being selected as a delegate in the All-State Chorus. Upon graduating, Patsy had a successful 40+ year career in which she owned numerous businesses with her husband, Thomas. In addition, she was a loving mother to her son, Matthew, and her three grandchildren. Throughout her life, Patsy maintained her passion for singing as she was an active member of her church choir up until just a few months before her ultimate passing on June 11, 2022. To honor her memory, Patsy's family created this scholarship to help graduating students pursue their higher educational goals.
